Singular for Crohn's Disease

Has anyone ever tried or been prescribed Singular for Crohn's disease?

I know it's used primarily for asthmatics but due to it's mechanism of action,
it seems like it would be possibly effective in treating Crohn's.

Singular for Crohn's Disease NEW

Hello there,

Thank you for your post. I know when you have Crohn's disease that finding a cure can almost become a mission but I do not think that Singular should be taken unless provided by your doctor for some reason. It is prescribed for those with asthma or allergies and I attach a link here with more details about it:

True, some medications do cross over but many medications can also cause severe side effects. In fact, all medication is prescribed with a risk and so doctors should only prescribe something that has been specifically designed with Crohn's disease in mind.

You do not mention what medication you are currently on and whether it has been successful in any way, but there is much that you can do to help yourself in respect of symptoms and I strongly believe that taking a more natural approach alongside any prescribed medicine can be of great advantage to those with Crohn's disease.

Stress, smoking, alcohol and the wrong food types can all aggravate this condition to varying degrees and this should form the foundation of any attempt to alleviate the symptoms because many people have found that by eliminating certain triggers, this is sufficient in calming down the aggressiveness of the disease and making it easier to live with.

Currently there is no cure but there is some indication that some people may be deficient of vitamins B and D and this is worth looking into. Always seek medical advice just to ensure that you do need a top-up of these vitamins before purchasing as you may not be deficient.

By all means take a look at this forum post for details of self-help with crohn’s, it takes a dietary approach but although it won’t work for everyone, it is worth a look.

Singular is a new drug on the market for hayfever sufferers and asthmatics. It is still on trial!
Please don't think that it's action can 'cure' you of Crohns'disease. Maybe your thoughts that you think that it can might, but I would like to suggest that you have more of a chance looking for the cause of your problems, rather than a medicinal Bandaid.
After suffering from Crohns for 40 years of my life, I no have 'it'.
Crohn's is just a name for symptoms that you are currently experiencing. Inflammation or ulceration in your gastrointestinal tract. Google Cortisol and you may find that if your body has been in prolonged stress, that the high levels of the hormone Cortisol have caused inflammation in your gut. Strange you may think, but true. I am a walking example :)
If you check out theirritablebrain on You Tube, I share my understanding of how I got rid of it. Completely. No problems if you don't agree, I just wanted to share what worked for me, just in case it could work for you too and maybe end your suffering :)
All the best
