Working offshore

I've just accepted a job which involves a lot of offshore work (oil rigs etc) and I'm struggling a bit to get the required medical certification despite my Crohn's having been in remission for over 4 years.
Does anyone know the ins and outs of an offshore medical with regard Crohn's?
