surgery for crohns while pregnant

I have had Crohns for 6 years and am only 22 years old. Me and my boyfriend wanted to have a baby we tried 4 a year before we got pregnant,everything was going well until at 18 weeks I had a flare up and had to go into hospital,the doctors said I needed the op which was so scary as I was pregnant. Between 18 and 22 weeks is the safest time to have an op,so they decided to just fit me with a stoma bag until I have the baby which is due on the 16th jan 08,then after 3 months do another op to remove the Crohns then reverse the stoma and put me back to normal. I hope! I was very scared at the time as i was the only one the doctors have known to have this op while pregnant. It would nice to hear from anyone who has been in a similar position.
