Pred sucks, but it works and affects people differently. It could be his ticket to better QOL.. Let the doc be the judge on that.

Hi there

Hello there, i am 16 years old and have been living with crohns for just over a year and half i can fully tell u that your son will have times when he will be so sick to the point of there being nothing left to come out i get that sick atleast 2-3 sometimes more a week it is not fun and i can say that i know how he feels. you should take him to a GI (Gastrointestinaloligest) and speak with them about what they can do to help him, now they may want to put him on a steroid called prednizone , my docotor put me on this medication, please do not put your son on it, this medication makes u feel horrible or at least it made me, and the doctors also do not know the long term affects of this medication. Once again i am so sorry to hear about your son having this draining disease. feel free to e-mail me with questions i will try my best to answer them

That was normal for me and it was greeny/yellow although my Doctor has recently said you should not let it get that bad so go to the clinic.
