roids for just over a week

I have just been diagnosed with Crohns 2 weeks ago. I was put on 50mg of prednisolone and also had to go on similar eye drops because the inflammation moved to my left eye and also my feet. for the first few days I felt great but now im starting to get the symptoms back, is this normal so soon after commencing treatment?
