Painless spasms in abdominal area

by Kim
(Virginia)

I was diagnosed with Crohns disease in November 2007. I am currently taking Lialda and Entocort. I have noticed in the past several months that I get these spasms in my stomach. For the women out there, I describe them as the feeling you get when pregnant, when the fetus moves or kicks you. That is the best explanation for how it feels to me. If it were not for the fact that I have had a period every month and tests were negative, I would think that I am pregnant. But since I know I am not, I was wondering if anyone else had felt symptoms like this before. My gastroenterologist just upped the dosage on my medicine, but that has not helped. As I've said, the spasms are not painful, just very weird feeling. But I just don't like knowing what is causing something, you know? Anyway, if anyone has similar symptoms or advice, please let me know. Thanks.
