Ostomy Bags for those in need

I am ostomy patient (Crohns) for over 24 yrs. I use the Convatec One Piece Drainable Pouch and have some extras that I would like to donate. I realize there are many Ostomy patients that struggle with the costs of their bags; I have some extra that I would like to share with those in need.

Ostomy Bags Available................. NEW
by: Theresa

Hi Lili,
Yes, I have donated some of my Ostomy bags to my clinic and also a local hospital. I just remember a time in my early Ostomy days when we didn't have insurance for a while and how difficult it was sometimes to come up with the money just to purchase just one box and then try to make those 10 bags last as long as possible. Thank goodness I finally discovered the 'paper' medical tape, much easier on the skin, and taping around the edges would help the bag last a bit longer. Ya know, ya just do what you can!!!
Well, if anyone does know of any ostomy patients that could use a little assistance in obtaining their bags, please contact me!!!
Wishing you all a happy and healthy 2012!!

Theresa,
this is a great thing that you are doing I applaude you!!!!
Ostomy supplies are extremly expensive and some insurance coverage are limited..
My husband donates his extra supplies to the local hospital ostomy/wound care unit.
There are so many patients that come in to the clinic and cant afford it...
Thank you...
You've put a smile on my face.....
