MY BEST FRIEND HAS CROHN'S DISEASE

I would like to know if you can die from Crohn's Disease. My best friend has it and it worries me that it could kill him one day. He's had Crohn's since he was a teenager and he is in pain a lot of the time even with all the medication he takes from the doctors. I don't know much about Crohn's Disease yet as I have only just starting looking on the internet for research on Crohn's Disease. I want to know everything I can so that I can help my best friend because he didn't have anybody to talk to about it before he told me everything.
