Hi my fiancee has been put on a modulen diet for 28days, she has only been taking it for a day so far, and has been having difficulty swallowing it due to taste and texture, the day after she started taking it she had to rush to the bathroom and proceded to vomit green liquid type stuff, i was wondering if this is a regular occurance and whether anybody else has had this happen to them?
Any advice would be great.

My son who is 14 did 8 weeks of Modulen in Europe. It was not successful for him, but he did not have the side effects you describe. I was grateful for the doctors in Spain who did not rush to put my child on steroids as they would have in the US possibly. I have heard many positive things about Modulen and wish is was an option more for patients in the US; it was not the right answer for us at that time.

hi im 30 and have had cronhs for 12 years,its terrible and dont no how iv coped all this time,iv tryed lots of things,but just cant get rid of the pain.iv been on modulen for 3 weeks and yes i agree the taste is horrible but now im drinkin it with modulen flavorin and it taste a lot better or even mix it with any strawberry milkshack powder,the pain is easin so hopefully after the 28 days i can start to try eatin again,i would love to talk to people in the condition as myself as i said iv had it for 12years and still cant cope with it..

Hey

I have only just started on this for 28 days, but i was told it can make your stool green so perhaps the sickness being green isn't unsual either. I admit its absolutley disgusting im in on day 3 and hating it, but if it gets me better then i have to see it through!! I'd be interested to know how she coped on it. I'm not totally sure when you posted this.
