insurance for crohn's patient

Hi I am 25 yr old suffering from crohn's since past 10 yrs.I was in India when they diagnosed it,later moved to USA. I work for a small company and they said they will not be able to provide me with health insurance.I am green card holder(not a citizen yet).Any suggestions on how to get insurance?Thanks in advance. PLEASE HELP ME.

HI Sneha
I can't help but I can sympathise. I live in the UK and feel lucky cause here there are no problems with health insurance. We have the NHS and its all free. I talk to US crohns sufferers and some have problems with the medical costs as well as the stress of crohns.

My son is soon to lose his state insurance at the age of 19, I feel you pain. Get a job with a large company and get group insurance. Good luck
