Imuran and Healing

I have Crohns disease. Recently I had surgery (not related to the Crohns) and I'm very slow at healing. It has been 7 weeks and still am not healed at the incision. One doctor said its because I'm on Imuran that the healing process has slowed down. Has anyone else heard of this>
