Dry skin with chrohn's disease

I was diagnose with crohns disease a year ago.I have never experience dry skin before ,but now my skin is so dry it feels like aligator skin all over my body even in my face.I have tried many different body lotion but no change.I also lost a lot of weight. Has anyone experience dried skin problem with crohn and how did you take care of it.With all the other symptoms with crohn ,i would like to find a way to feel better about myself

Dry Skin and Aloe
by: Anonymous

Pure Aloe Vera helps with dry skin. It works from the dermis layer outwards so the new skin underneath is always moisturised too.

You can find any of this stuff at www.shopwithkirsty.co.uk

Hope that helps.

Dry skin with Crohns disease

The dry skin is caused by anemia. Talk to your doctor about vitamins you can take for the anemia and you will most likely see a difference with your skin. I have also found that Palmers Cocoa Butter helped me. I even use it on my face. Exfoliating really helps too. Hope this was helpful.

Dry skin

I have horrible dry skin. I have found that if I use Cetaphil body cream, not the lotion that it helps tremendously. I also use the Cetaphil cleansing bar on my face as well. Good luck
