Dental Health with Crohn's Disease

My daughter has Crohn's and has lost a number of teeth. It seems infection sets up or a tooth breaks off and the end result is extraction. Is this related to the Crohn's?

Crohn's and teeth

It seems a lot of people have teeth break with Crohn's (it has only happened once with me so far, wisdom tooth broke last xmas), but a lot of it has to do with the medication and the lack of ability to absorb calcium. If she isn't, she should try a calcium supplement and Vitamin D daily
