Supplement
by: Anonymous, also in IL

Have your friend try supplementing with some glutamine powder. Stomach and intestine lining use the stuff up. My case is nowhere near as bad as what your friend is going through, but it has made a huge difference for me. It's pretty cheap to try, might as well give it a shot. Try to find a time release formula if possible so the stomach doesn't use it all up. MHP Glutamine-sr is what I'm using, hope it helps. Google and you'll find it, and answers to any questions you may have.

PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIEND TO LOOK UP "GREAT TASTE NO PAIN" BY SHERRY BRESCIA. IT IS ALL ABOUT PROPER FOOD COMBINATIONS FOR PEOPLE WITH CROHNES. IT HAS REALLY HELPED ME. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS.

CD is an autoimmune deficiency disease, and because of that it is systemic and therefore the patient is prone to all kinds of other maladies. My personal one is shingles, which i get about every two months or so. I have had CD for almost forty years, and have been through every single type of treatment known to man or beast. i found my angel in Remicade infusions which I started around three years ago. it has literally changed my life. For now, though, they have to find a way(through Prednisone and Asecol in this instance) to stabilize the symptoms. I feel that these sores are symptoms brought on by her physical AND EMOTIONAL instability. Tell her to try meditation or some type of centering excersize. Stress is one part physical and one part emotional! If your friend would like to contact me I would be more than happy to guide and help in any way I can. My email is tod@mynewbenz.com
