yes!!! i was diagnosed and hospitalized for 3 weeks just 2 months after giving birth. It was a c-section that i had and i belive it disrupted my bowles and since then i have been in and out of the hospital....just dicuss it with your dr

Yes Crohn's can get worse after giving birth!!!!!

Hello,

Yes Crohns can get worse after giving birth. They suspect it has something to do with the hormones, lack of sleep, stress everything that comes with motherhood. Go to your GI and tell him that your sympton's have increased since giving birth. He/She can adjust your meds or try new ones to ease your sympton's.
