I "retired" from work last year and went out on disability due to Crohns Colitis. Was diagnosed in 1968 at the age of 16. IF you do all your paperwork...ie: ALL doctors notes, hospitalizations, letters from all docs, documentation on EVERYTHING...you should not have any trouble. I made copies of it all and submitted it and was approved. Dont leave anything out...tell it like it is in a cover letter to SS.
I wish you the best.
